We are growers of different banana varieties, rice, vegetables and coconuts.
Our unique identity comes from our geographic location and agriculture produce.
Banana Circles is a permaculture design, literally translating to bananas planted in a self-sustaining circle. We are working towards creating metaphorical banana circles with multiple small holding farmers by improving soil health, shift towards regenerative agriculture whereby increasing farmers returns and creating a scalable ecosystem that is sustainable in all aspects.

For decades we have been seed keepers of banana heirloom varieties and follow so to this day and age.
We are also working on bringing back more indigenous varieties that were cultivated in abundance.
We cultivate over 12 different banana varieties each having its own characteristics, nutrition and cultural orientation.

Our lands are nestled in the plains just adjacent to the mighty Western Ghats close to the southernmost tip of India in Tamil Nadu.
India gets its land nourished from the South West and North East monsoons our land being in the geographic intersection receives abundance thus allowing us to cultivate naturally water intensive crops such as bananas and rice.

Processing Unit – Banana Circles has an export certified food processing unit for dehydrating and processing bananas other plant based products, located within the farms in Southern Tirunelveli dist. Tamil Nadu.
We process indigenous banana varieties that are highly nutritious and rich in vital elements into functional foods.
We also process other foods that have various nutritive benefits for the food and nutraceuticals industry.

Soil – We as farmers take the utmost responsibility towards rejuvenating soil health, the biggest driving force and objective for Banana Circles is to improve Soil Organic Matter (SOM) by increasing Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) levels.
A shift towards regenerative agriculture practices is our primary focus.
